ABOUT SUE
Sue Porter CPLP, CMEC, D.I.S.C. Train the Trainer, is a proud wife of Ron Porter, her soul mate whom she married 45 years ago. She is the mother of two amazing grown children, 3 delightful grandsons, and a new granddaughter.
She grew up and lived in "The Old Pueblo," Tucson, Arizona for most all of her life, and is now residing in Denver, Colorado.
"Sue's passion is to assist you as the CEO, Executive, Director, Owner, or Manager in becoming all you were meant to be as a leader, while taking your life back from the craziness of leading! (From here on out these titles will all be considered and called “LEADER” throughout "this website.)
Sue's main clients are cutting-edge leaders in engineering and technology fields. Her clients tend to be left-brained, task-oriented leader(s) in any company or organization.
Many of her clients have told her that they've never received the needed training to feel equipped, confident, and successful in working with PEOPLE! These are leaders who have a mission to fulfill, while on a trajectory to do great things!
Now, if her clients could, they'd prefer to do most things themselves rather than have to deal with ineffective, lazy, or non-productive people who at times seem to care less. (Please don't be offended, these are their words, not hers.)
In fact, these are leaders who are masters of perfection but simultaneously, this comes the challenge of needing to WORK WELL WITH PEOPLE, usually a learned skill! Sue and her team assist them in building a collaborative work environment where each person is seated in the right position, one that fits them best while providing an environment for them to produce their best work.
Because of this natural fit above, your talent are more inclined to produce their BEST WORK due to having a leader that genuinely believes in them, who takes an interest in them both personally and professionally. Someone who celebrates their directs wins, bemoans their losses, and truly cares about how they're doing throughout their career journey.
Unfortunately, it's rare to find a mentor, director, or manager who has developed this kind of mindset and skill-set that engenders feelings of importance and value in each team member! A leader who listens, leads, and supports their team consistently. When done right it's amazing how their employee's performance is enhanced, BOLSTERING the company's BOTTOM LINE!
And this is where Sue and her team come in to assist, train, and coach your leadership team to develop just such leadership competencies, skills, and company culture! Because of this Sue's normal tenure in many companies is two to three years. In fact, her favorite interventions are where she's coaching the Director or Manager weekly, while simultaneously providing ongoing tailored training to his/her team. This is invaluable as she's able not only able to consistently working with his/her team, she's also able to keep her pulse on what's transpiring among them. As a result, she's able to gather valuable intel that specifically directs her coaching and training of said leader and team.
To verify any of the above, see Sue's Recommendations Page to hear exactly what her clients have said about Sue, her work, and the outcomes they've received. (And no, she has NEVER written any of these recommendations as she has heard some leaders in the industry recommend. Instead, she wants their words and the outcomes they received expressed explicitly from them!)

My mission is to assist YOU, YOUR LEADERSHIP TEAM, and EMPLOYEES to recognize and discover your unique personalities, talents, and giftings so you can successfully fit and function, with optimal purpose and direction in ALL aspects of your life, while fulfilling your mission in the company where you serve and lead.
When Sue was 18 she was in a serious head-on car accident where she was sitting in the middle back seat of an LTD, along with five other youth.
Because they hadn't forced car companies to install the shoulder harness, the whip lash she endured broke her back and tore up everything in the path of the seatbelt. She was in a Stryker Circle Electric Bed for six weeks, and now lives with the consequences.
As a result she wasn't able to train or coach in person around the country, and was limited to Arizona. This said she still worked with two billion-dollar organizations, one for three years. So when you see her recommendations, this is why so many are local.
However, now, due to Zoom and other modern technology after COVID, she's able to conduct webinars and be on podcasts anywhere in the world. If you'd like more information on how to have her on your webinar or podcast, contact her HERE.
“Sue not only provided insightful and practical techniques for working in a difficult environment but also provided valuable individual attention which resulted in a better understanding of human interactions in one's professional and personal relationships!”

Sue coached and trained the C.E.O. and his top four executive directors of a 1.4 billion-dollar public works engineering firm (The Metro Light Rail) through conflict resolution and team-building for three years. The Light Rail is shown to the left.
Sue then trained their entire staff on pertinent people skills with her system the "Interactive Styles." A few years later she did the same coaching and training for the Executive Director and his team of managers of a 6-billion-dollar mining company.
