Sue Porter CPLP, CMEC, D.I.S.C. Train the Trainer, is a proud wife of Ron Porter her soul mate. She's the mother of two great grown children, 3 delightful grandsons, and adorable new granddaughter.
Having grown up in "The Old Pueblo," Tucson, Az for most all of her life, Sue's now resides in Denver with her husband. She loves reading, listening to music, walking, meeting people, and dancing with her husband.

Although I can work with any leader, I specializes in working with cutting-edge leaders in engineering, architecture, and technology fields.
Many of my clients have told me they've never received the needed training to feel equipped, confident, and successful in their job, and working with PEOPLE!
Now, if my clients could, most would prefer to accomplish things by themselves rather than have to deal with ineffective, lazy, or non-productive people who at times seem to care less. (Please don't be offended, these are their words, not mine.)
In fact, many of these leaders have mastered achieving results and holding high standards, which simultaneously comes with the challenge of WORKING WELL WITH THEIR PEOPLE.
This is a learned skill we work together to imbue into all their dealings with people.
This leads to building a collaborative work environment where each person is seated in the right position to be successful, while complimenting the styles of others.
At the same time we work to create an environment where they thrive. Put this all together with a few other keys, and you'll have a high performing team!
Coaching and training are a natural fit for me. As I learned early on that talent are more inclined to produce their BEST WORK with a leader who genuinely believes in them, and takes an a real interest in them. My training has only enhanced my passion and vision. (See my training below.)
And, this is exactly what I've seen is so clearly lacking in so many companies.
It's why I've developed such a passion for leaders to be trained, coached, and equipped to lead with expertise. All so they don't lead the only way they know how, because they were taught, by the example of a bad boss.
This is why I train more by example than instruction. It's caught more than taught, although I do both.
I’ve learned that the way I engage with my clients, provides a living example of the leadership behaviors I encourage them to practice with their teams.
I also discovered not work with anyone who isn't teachable and willing.
This has allowed me, for the last twenty two of my twenty nine years in business, to have the BEST clients anyone could ever ask for.
Unfortunately, it's rare to find a mentor, director, or manager who has developed this kind of mindset and skill-set that engenders feelings of importance, while transferring value to each team member!
A leader who listens, leads, supports, and encourages their team consistently and with a high standard of conduct and performance.
Done right, their employee's performance is enhanced, BOLSTERING the company's BOTTOM LINE! Most just needed the training and support to learn HOW!
And this is where my team and I come in to assist, train, and coach your leadership team to develop just such leadership competencies, skills, and ultimately creating a productive, positive company culture!
Because of this my normal tenure in many companies is two to three years. Unprecedented in my industry!
In fact, my favorite interventions are where I'm coaching the Director(s) or Manager(s) weekly, while simultaneously providing ongoing tailored training to his/her team.
This is invaluable as I've been able to not only consistently work with the team, while allowing me to keep my pulse on what's transpiring day to day.
As a result, I'm able to gather valuable information to specifically customized the way I coach and train each leader for maximum effectiveness.
Some of the tools I use are the D.I.S.C. Profile, The Needs Assessments, Communication Profile, 360 degree assessments, Generational Differences, and Learning Styles compliment my approach perfectly and maximize my effectiveness.
